LOFAR4SW FINAL DEMO SESSION
Online, 14 February 2022
Meeting description
The Horizon 2020 (H2020) INFRADEV design project, LOFAR for Space Weather (LOFAR4SW), ends on 28 February 2022. The project’s primary goal was to develop the conceptual and technical design of the upgrade of the LOFAR international telescope to open up the possibility of using it for space weather purposes.
On 14 February the Project team is organising the Final Demo Session. The aim of the meeting is to present to prospective users the outcomes of the LOFAR4SW project. During the meeting, the focus will be placed on the new possibilities that can be opened by the fully implemented LOFAR4SW infrastructure in the context of studying space weather.
The plans and possibilities for its further implementation will also be discussed in order to try to find a common ground for future exploitation of the results.
